Another Push Poll
by Matt Singer on 6:09 pm.
Don’t people in Ohio have anything better to do?
Apparently this is over the fact that Tester hasn’t had a hunting license in a long time. That’d be because sport shooting is frowned upon in Montana.
Or something.
Shorter GOP message:
Butchering cattle: Bad.
Sport shooting: Bad.
Making a living as a farmer: Bad.
Selling out to D.C. lobbyists: Good.

Testing…testing….Squid to LITW…come in please….testing…testing.
Now I’m no lawyer, but last I checked it is illegal to hunt in Montana without a hunting license. So Tester would be fine if he hasn’t hunted. However, his campaign ads lead people to believe that he is a hunter. Are there other laws that Tester thinks he’s above?
Perhaps Tester couldn’t afford those higher taxes he imposed on hunting licenses with his meager government CRP subsidy. Maybe Conrad was wrong, he hasn’t found that little niche market in being an ORGANIC Farmer.
Robocalling is illegal in Montana. Does the Conrad Burns campaign think that it is above all laws?
Changing your vote for money is illegal. Does the Conrad Burns think that he is above all laws?
Selling federal judge seats are illegal. Does the Conrad Burns think that he is above all laws?
And, where does a commercial show Jon Tester as a hunter? He defends hunters rights and public access, unlike Conrad Burns.
Thanks for the intro, you make it way too easy. I think they should hire someone else to do your job because you are not very good at it.
The only candidate in this race that is guilty of Robo-calling is Jon Tester. He did it last spring to raise money and last night a bunch of Robo-calling was launched with none other than Brian Schwitzer. I know because I have a copy on my answering machine. The Burns campaign has never done robo-calling. Tester and Schwitzer are law breakers.
Conrad Burns never changed his vote for money. Your facts are completely off. He voted with other members of his committee, Republican and Democrat in a voice vote to move the bill to the floor for consideration. Everyone voted yea, including Dems. When it was on the floor, he voted no. It was procedural and it happens all the time.
Not sure what you are talking about in selling a federal judge seat. Again, you stretch.
Jon Tester is shown in a TV and a mail ad advocating hunting. He’s kneeling with what looks like a hunting dog in a field with a shotgun. It gives the impression he’s a hunter and he advocates for hunters. Yet, he’s never purchased a hunting license.
Shane, I know you are freeky smart like John Kerry, but help simpletons like me understand why you still fail to make a case Jon Tester advertising himself as a hunter, yet he’s never owned a hunting license. Furthermore, he’s raised fees for hunters.
Yes. I appreciate that compliment. I’ll give you the same:
George Bush got a higher grade point average than Kerry. He also has a higher IQ score than Kerry. Bush was also able to get into Harvard Business School. Kerry had to settle for Boston College.
Furthermore, in case you haven’t heard Bush kicked Kerry’s ass in the last election. Its been said that Kerry is one hell of a closer. It looks like he’s not even smart enough to tell a good joke.
All of you liberals keep pointing to Reagan and Bush as being so stupid yet they are smart enough to kick your teams ass around the field. It must be suck to be so smart and such a looser.
Max, 51% is not an ass kicking. I’ll take you and your buddy Bush AND Burns on in a gaem of trivial pursuit anyday.
Max, I shouldn’t take so much time wrestling with a paid mouthpiece like you. I will though.
I have got the robocall push polls supporting Burns, this is defact campigning for the Burns campaign and it is illegal.
On the judge issue, it is all over the papers buddy.
If thats the case then Tester and Schwitzer are even guilty of more crimes. You see I’ve also recieved robo-calls from Move-On and the Firemen.
Geez, mini, I haven’t hunted in probly twenty-five years. BUT I’M STILL A HUNTER! Used to do archery hunting looooong before it was popular! And I still love wild meat. I usually get my game now when someone GIVES me one! But by GOD I’m still a hunter! Fisherman too! But I kinda don’t do that as much either, since the rivers have become so polluted that it is recommended that you don’t eat but one a month from the Missouri! I used to eat tons from there!
Game, Set, Match. Thanks Larry the Environmental Terrorist for setting me strait on this. I’m sure hunters who are actually forced to pay higher taxes imposed by Jon Tester also look at him as a hunter. Just one that doesn’t have to pay to hunt.
Your arguement totally makes sense. That means that I’m a Jedi Knight because when I was a kid I used to play with Jedi action figures. Also, I’m Roger Staubach because I used to throw the football in the back yard pretending to be him. Thanks for setting me strait on this.
You guys are all freeky smart like John Kerry.
How true, Mini! Arrested maturation is INDEED the diagnosis that I would say you suffer from! Haven’t progressed much beyond the jedi knight days, have you???
Can’t you hunt on your own land without a license?
Jon Tester has a flat top. All Conrad Burns has is a secret plan for Iraq (just like another famous liar, Richard Nixon!).
No Bob, you can’t hunt on your own land without a license unless you are Jon Tester. Or was he hunting? Could someone answer this question? Was he hunting or does he just pose with a hunting dog to make people think he’s a hunter? Which is it?
I’m a 50 year old native Montanan and still live here. I haven’t bought a hunting license or hunted for 35 years, but I still am in favor of hunting. The wild game supplimented our dinner as I was growing up. There’s still alot of hungry families here in Montana. My yard inside the city limits have deer grazing about any night of the week especially in the fall. The deer and antelope eat rancher’s hay. Hunting helps manage the wildlife abundance here in this state. Don’t want to eat something that’s been alive? What would you eat? Fish are live and plants are live. It’s not that we in Montana are barbaric, were does those back east think the beef and pork come from at the grocery stores?
I received a push poll by a ROBOT last Sunday, Monday I telephoned the Burns camp. which told me it wasn’t them calling, it was “Common Sense for Montana”. So they are certainly aware of the push poll Robocalls. I just received a mailing from Common Sense for Montana today and guess what? Right under that, it says “Paid for Common Sense Ohio”. Thanks to that mailing, I now know how to fill out my complaint with law enforcement because Robocalling is illegal in the State of Montana.
