Why Won’t Chuck Denowh Campaign Against a Nazi Who Supports Compulsory Abortions?

by on 4:28 pm.

It’s a fair question. The Republicans literally have a Nazi running on their ballot line who has called for compulsory abortions. And while they earlier pledged to actively campaign against him, they have since said they will not, since the district is safely Democratic.

Meanwhile, they’re sending out attack pieces going after Jon Tester for being connected to Markos and highlighting Markos’ stance on dilation-and-extraction abortion. Fine. But until they actually put their money where their mouth is on the Republican running who supports racially-determined compulsory abortions, I don’t think they’ve got a lot of credibility on this issue.

It’s no big secret to people who were involved in student government at UM with Chuck that he was moderate (even liberal, gasp!) on gay rights issues. I have no idea where he falls on choice issues personally. I do know that a political party that won’t campaign against a Nazi running on their ballot line should be hesitant to parade other candidate’s supporters around as evidence of electoral worthiness.

How does the gay rights issue relate to your point? Why is that included in the piece?

These Nazi’s and thier ilk that run for office provide opportunity for liberals, phonies and grandstanders to do chest puffing and podium pounding, not much more. They are best ignored.

I think those very words were spoken in Germany back in the early 1930’s….

Yes, big sage… if we appease lunatic Nazis by ignoring them, they’ll take over. We are very comparable to Germany in the 1930s.

What a thoughtful, nuanced position.

Ah, yes, the all-knowing T brothers! Look, fellas, just because YOU two have never run into nazis does NOT mean that they are not dangerous and capable of violence! Sheesh. Did you fellas just move here, or are you really ignorant of the white supremnits, racists, nazis, militias, and OTHER assorted wackjobs that have moved to Montana over the years in order to establish a “white homeland”?? Sad, so sad. But I, along with Ken Toole, remember the time on TV when a group of nazis killed four protesters and did not serve a day in jail! If I remember correctly, that is when Ken started the Montana Human Rights Task Force. But ignore them if you want. That’s your choice.
